1) Is there any fee for your service?
Basic LastMinuteGolfer membership is free. You’ll pay a small convenience fee each time you book golf tee times available for LastMinuteGolfer members. We provide you with the most convenient (patented) way to get a tee time and see detailed information on the courses. AND you'll enjoy unmatched value being a LastMinuteGolfer member... purchasing non-refundable "last minute" tee times and redeeming yards towards special "red flag" rewards rounds.

3) Why can't I use the user name and password I entered previously?
Most likely, it's because you entered the incorrect e-mail address at signup. You MUST enter a valid email address. Periodically, we will delete memberships that have invalid email addresses. If you are unable to login using your old password, please sign up again using a valid email address.

4) I forgot my username or password.
Retrieve your username and password by clicking here and following the instructions. You will need to enter the email address that we have on file for your account. We'll then email your username and password to that address.

6) I can't log in to my account.
Please verify that you are logging in with the correct password and username. We also recommend clearing your browser's cookies and temporary internet files and then try logging in again. Note: Mac users should use Safari or Firefox for the best browsing results. If you have already tried the methods above, check to make sure your profile still exists by finding your profile on the site. Also, look for comments you posted on your friends' profiles. If you cannot find your profile, it may have been deleted. LastMinuteGolfer may delete profiles if they violate the site's Terms and conditions. You cannot retrieve a deleted account. 7) How do I change my email address?
Your e-mail address is found under "My Profile" in our LastMinuteGolfer.com member section. Start by clicking on http://www.lastminutegolfer.com. Log in using your LMG Username and Password. You will be taken to the Member Area. Click on the "My Profile" tab. Once there, type in the new email address you want to use and click on "Update My Information".

8) How do I change my username or password?
Your username and password is found under "My Profile" in our LastMinuteGolfer.com member section. Start by clicking on http://www.lastminutegolfer.com. Log in using your current LMG Username and Password. You will be taken to the Member Area. Click on the "My Profile" tab. Once there, click either the "Change My User Name" or "Change My Password" button. Type your new information, and click the "Change" button.

9) How do I close/delete my account?
If you wish to permanently terminate your LastMinuteGolfer account, please contact our customer service department here. Please provide your name and email address so we can locate your account. Keep in mind, cancelling your LastMinuteGolfer account will PERMANENTLY REMOVE all of your profile information from LastMinuteGolfer, including any handicap information, reservatios, course reviews, photographs, comments, blogs, and your personal network of golf buddies. This information cannot be restored. You may re-register with your current email address after canceling, but you will need to rebuild your profile and personal network from scratch.

You can book a tee time online for next day golf as late as midnight the night before.

12) Can I add/remove players to my tee time reservation?
If you have booked an Advance reservation (more than 24 hours out) you may add or remove players to your reservation. Log in and click the 'My Tee Times' tab. Click on the tee time you want to edit. If allowed, you'll see a link to add players or edit/delete players on your reservation. Click the link and follow the instruction. Last Minute (made less than 24 hours out) and Red Flag Rewards reservations are not eligible for adding/removing players.

13) When I book a tee time, do you charge my credit card?
When you book a tee time within 24 hours of your round, we charge your credit card immediately for all the golfers in your group. You’ll often enjoy a special "last minute" rate when you book a tee time less than 24 hours in advance (based on availability and limited to times posted). Once booked, your tee time is non-refundable and non changeable. If you get rained out, you'll receive a raincheck at the course (from the course, not from LastMinuteGolfer). Outside 24 hours ("advance tee time"), you will pay your golfer fees at the course and your credit card is charged a small convenience fee during booking. When you book an advance tee time using LastMinuteGolfer, you are responsible for either a) showing up and playing golf, or b) canceling online or by calling LastMinuteGolfer (not the course). Failing to do this may result in no-show penalties and charges. RED FLAG REWARDS ROUNDS - Redeem your Frequent Golfer “yards” to cover some or all of the greens fees when you book these tee times. Red Flag rewards rounds are very limited and are often snatched up fast by LastMinuteGolfers. Rates change all the time. These tee times are non-refundable/ non-changeable and are billed immediately on your credit card. Red Flag rewards rounds can be booked outside 24 hours OR inside 24 hours. You’ll always be charged immediately when you book them and you may enjoy significant savings based on how many yards you choose to redeem and/or special promotions that may be running.

14) Do I have to enter my credit card each time I book a tee time?
NO. Once you become a registered user, you have the option of letting our secure system keep all of your key information on file. You simply log in using your user name and password then... "point, click and golf!"

15) Why don't you have every course in Atlanta on your site?
We're always adding new courses. It takes time. If your favorite course is not yet a LastMinuteGolfer course, please encourage them to give us a call (at 770-664-GOLF) or contact us through our site and we'll be happy to show them the details of our unique program.

16) I log in on Thursday and don't see many tee times available for Saturday. Why not?
We're not miracle workers. The courses often set aside a few highly desirable times for us in advance, but they are booked pretty quickly (up to one week in advance on our site). Your best bet is to check back the night before since "last minute" times are posted between 6 and 8 PM for next day golf. Often times, you can find a great Saturday morning time at 9PM on Friday night.

17) I'm a SINGLE. Why can't I see/ book more tee times?
Per standard golf course policy, we never let a single START a reservation, however you'll be able to fill in holes on a course tee sheet and you'll be able to see / book tee times once there is a twosome or threesome booked into an available time. Watch late at night as many times for singles often open up as twosomes and threesomes book their golf.

18) What are the greensfees?
Click on the "greensfees" text at left and you'll see the most recent greensfees at our courses. We attempt to keep these as accurate as possible. These are the posted rates offered by our courses. They are subject to change without notice (within a couple of bucks).

The "course review" area of our site allows you to view AND post YOUR comments about the courses. Please take a moment and post your comments so other golfers can see what you think. Don't hesitate to post a tip or two. You may also visit our national course review page.

20) Why do I see "no times available" occasionally?
Golf outings are really popular and our Atlanta golf courses do a lot of them. We make it a point to not send you out to any course that has an outing going on so that you won't run into big delays on the course. In addition, some courses ONLY post times at the "last minute"... so you'll have to keep watching for tee times to be posted...in some cases, you can save some $$$ too.

21) Why didn't I receive an e-mail confirmation?
You may have entered an invalid e-mail address at signup. You MUST enter a valid e-mail address.. You may want to check your current LastMinuteGolfer e-mail address in your "profile" once you log in. If the e-mail is incorrect, change it ASAP. We will frequently delete members that have invalid email addresses in their profiles. If we don't have your e-mail address, we can't send your tee time confirmations so we delete you.

22) When are tee times posted?
Using our patent-pending software, Atlanta's best golf courses can now post their "last minute" tee times directly to our site at ANY time. This is especially useful for you if you are golfer looking for a weekend tee time. Just log in on Friday and Saturday nights and you will often find great next-day tee times at the LastMinuteGolfer courses. You can book online and be on the course the next morning. We also have some advance tee times that are set aside by the courses for LastMinuteGolfer.com. In many cases, Atlanta's best courses frequently run "online only" specials on LastMinuteGolfer.com.

23) How do I CANCEL my tee time?
If you want to cancel a tee time that you booked on LastMinuteGolfer, PLEASE do one of two things...1) log in to LastMinuteGolfer.com and click on "My Tee Times". You'll see the times that you have booked and you can easily cancel if you need to. You can also call our call center anytime to cancel a reservation. Please do NOT call the courses to cancel LastMinuteGolfer times. For same day cancellations, you'll need to call us at 770-664-GOLF. If you cancel an advance reservation on the day of play, you are subject to a small frequent golfer yardage penalty, however it's still (much) better to cancel than to not show up for a booked reservation.

24) What if I "no-show"?
No shows are really bad for golf courses. When you signed up with us, you agreed to be responsible to show up and play (or cancel your tee time if it is cancelable). If you don't show up for your golf and you didn't cancel your tee time per the above, the course has the option of charging your credit card for your entire group. Those who no-show will also have penalty yards deducted from their Frequent Golfer Yardage accounts. We strongly encourage you to show up or cancel your time to prevent no-show charges.

25) Do I get a rain check if I prepay my golf and I get rained out?
Yes. Since all prepaid golf on our site is nonrefundable, you’ll get a rain check (from the course) if weather prevents you from playing a “last minute” or “red flag” time. You’re responsible for showing up at the course to play (or making special arrangements with the course if the weather is REALLY bad). Note- rain checks for red flag tee times typically have restrictions.

26) What's the difference between "No Times Posted" and "All Times Booked?
LastMinuteGolfer now puts the courses in full control of what is posted on the booking system. Sometimes a LastMinuteGolfer course does not post times to our booking system until the night before.... and sometimes they post NO times at all for a given day. Courses will not post times on days that they have an outing (we hope) and sometimes they just plain forget to post tee times. In any case, you'll see a "No Times Posted" message. As teetimes fill up relatively quickly on LastMinuteGolfer, you'll often see a "All Times Booked" message, meaning that the course posted some times but they are no longer available because another golfer booked them. When you visit the LastMinuteGolfer courses, please encourage them to make "last minute" tee times available to you.

27) Is your website Secure? How do you handle credit card security?
Our Reservation Forms are secured using 128 Bit SSL Encryption (what is SSL ?) This means your information is protected while using our site. Because our website utilizes 'frames' for navigation purposes, you will not see a small padlock icon at the bottom of your browser. You have three options.
  1. Click the 'Preferences' link at the bottom of any email we send you.
  2. When you log in to LastMinuteGolfer, click on the "My Preferences" tab to change your email settings.

If you've selected your favorite local courses and you put a check in every box, we'll automatically send you (a max of) ONE email per day as follows:

37) I booked a tee time but did not earn any Frequent Golfer Yards. Why not?
Frequent Golfer Yards are earned by booking Advance and Last Minute tee times. Yards may be used to reduce the cost of our Red Flag Promotional times, however, no Frequent Golfer Yards are earned when you book a Red Flag tee time. 38) Where can I find how many Frequent Golfer Yards I have earned?
To view your Frequent Golfer Yardage balance, log in to your account and, under the Welcome tab you will see a summary of your yards under the Frequent Golfer Program headline and a link to view additional details. You may also click the link near the top of the member area showing your yardage balance. In addition to your online statement, we send out monthly email statements with your current yardage balance, and other information. You may also view your statement by clicking here.

Currnetly, your yards do NOT expire. You may redeem yards whenever (and wherever) it's convenient for you. Yards earned this golf season are available to be used next golf season.

41) How do I change my profile picture?
Click the Login link in the top menu on any My.LastMinuteGolfer page. Login using your LMG username and password. Once you are on your dashboard page, click the "Edit Profile" link. Under your Profile Photo in the 'About Me' section, you can click the 'Update Photo' link. Click the "Browse" button to search for a new photo on your computer, or choose one of the provided system photos on the page.

42) I'm trying to upload a photo, and I am getting an error message... what is wrong?
First, make sure the image you are attempting to upload is in one of the formats we accept (.gif, .jpg). Next, make sure the filename is simple and short, with no spaces or funny characters. "Image.jpg" is a good filename "Me at the course! drinking some beer~~.jpg" is probably not going to work. Next, make sure the filename is less than 1500k. We do not allow images over 1500k. If none of these things work, it's possible that the image is corrupted.

We have a recommended free tool for resizing images easily. Go to http://www.download.com/ and download a copy of the software program IrfanView. IT'S FREE and you can use it to resize images so they're less than 1500k, or resave images that may be corrupted. Once you have downloaded and installed IrfanView, simply run the program, open your .gif, or .jpg image, and resave it as another version (example: in IrfanView, open file named pic01.jpg, and resave it as pic01b.jpg). Then, simply return to My.LastMinuteGolfer.com and upload your newly resaved image.

Once you have a Golfer profile on My.LastMinuteGolfer.com, go to the Edit Profile page and click the link next to Member Type that is labeled "Are you a Golf Pro?". This will take you to a screen explaining the conversion process, and allow you to quickly convert your profile page to display items and features associated with Golf Professionals.

45) How do I change my personal information?
You may change your name, age, and/or add to the information on your Profile through "Edit Profile." Start by clicking on "Login" in the top navigation menu from any My.LastMinuteGolfer web page and then enter your username and password, and click the "Login" button. Once on your dashboard, click on "Edit Profile," appearing in the upper left portion of the page, next to your picture. You will be taken to your "Edit Profile" page where you may edit or add information from the following categories: name, age, city, state, zip, why you're here on My.LastMinuteGolfer, about you, interests, schools you've attended and companies you have worked for.

47) Someone on LastMinuteGolfer is bugging/harrassing/threatening me - what can I do about it?
The best thing to do if and when you encounter such a situation is simply ignore them... 99.9% of the time they will soon leave you alone. Remember, you can always remove the person from your Golf Buddies List (they will then no longer be able to add Comments to your Profile page), delete any Comments they leave on your Profile page, and you can even delete any messages they send you via the Private Message system without opening them. By NOT responding to offending users (i.e., NOT giving them any attention, NOT letting them get a "rise" out of you), most people will simply go away. If someone threatens you, contact law enforcement immediately. If you feel threatened, please also read our safety tips here. If they created a nasty profile about you or someone you know, you can contact customer service (and make sure to include the link to the profile!) here.
