On October 2, 2000 the Atlanta Women's Network will be
hosting a Golf Marathon to raise money for The
Partnership Against Domestic Violence. A golf marathon is
different from a golf tournament in that the golfers
have no entry fee. The challenge is to raise $25-$50
per hole or flat pledge basis and then attempt to play
up to 54 holds of golf in one day. The event will take
place at Towne Lake Hills Golf Club.
