General Atlanta Weather Comments
Atlanta golfers are lucky to be able to play golf throughout
the year. However, Atlanta weather is typically pretty humid and the Summer heat can
be pretty unbearable. Atlanta's golf courses (and "Southern Belle" cart girls)
do their best to keep beverages flowing. The best times to come to Atlanta for a
golf vacation are during the Spring and Fall, when it can be really cold up North and very
pleasant golfing weather here in Georgia. Be prepared for a few REALLY big
thunderstorms if you plan to be here during the Summer. We get thunderstorms about
once a day during the Summer. The good news is that Atlanta is a great escape from
the cold weather areas of the North during Spring and Fall. Click the links
